Trades of Hope is passionate about empowering women out of poverty, slums, sex trafficking and sweatshops. We partner with 28 groups in 16 countries, including the US. We market their fair trade products: beautiful accessories, scarves, handbags, and home decor, for each of our families to make a sustainable income so they can rise out of poverty, keep their children, and have a hope for the future. Each item has a story tied to it.
Our Trades of Hope founders and every Compassionate Entrepreneur in our company believe that all women should be empowered and have a chance to create a better life for themselves and their families regardless of their circumstances. By creating jobs and sustainable, income-generating businesses, our artisans are able to break the cycle of poverty, feed and take care of their families, and send their children to school.
