Yes, it is definately this easy. I wanted to use it for a few weeks before posting my review. This way I could throughly test it. We have used the same detergent for almost 16 years so this was something new to me. When I took the Robby Wash Ball out of the box it already had the pellets in it.
I placed the ball in the washing machine (which is front load) and loaded it up with clothes. Turned it on and waited for the cycle to end. Once the cycle ended I opened the door and had a pleasant smell coming from the inside. I then proceeded to place the clothes in the dryer and went back to inspect the washer. I wanted to see if any residue was left on the inside and there absolutely was NONE!
When the clothes came out of the dryer I wanted to inspect them again. They smelled wonderful and the scent was very pleasant. I love the Robby Wash Ball. Like I said I have used the same detergent for almost 16 years so this was change for us and one we loved. We will definately keep using our Robby Wash Ball.
I also love that I can leave it right in the washing machine each time.
The only time I have to take it out is to refill it :)
